MAFEX Marvel & DC Pre-Orders From BBTS
Medicom Toy, the company behind the popular MAFEX action figure line, continues to give collectors reasons to fill and eventually crack those piggy banks. As if my fellow toy collectors needed another reason to be excited, I wanted to highlight some of the MAFEX action figures available for pre-order via Big Bad Toy Store.
This preview is not exhaustive. I just wanted to share some of the comic versions of characters. We’ll start with some of the Marvel figures that are sure to find happy homes this year and going into the next. Captain America (No. 217) and Phoenix (No. 218) are slated for release in July of this year. They also carry a price tag of $104.99.
Daredevil (No. 223) is scheduled for a September release and will cost $94.99. Spider-Man 2099 (No. 239) stands out from the others in that he won’t be out until February 2025 and is priced at $109.99.
On the DC side of things, four of their upcoming figures are pulled straight from the pages of two popular storylines: Knightfall and Hush. Knight Crusader Batman (No. 215) and Bane (No. 216) will be available in June for $109.99 and $119.99, respectively. Their Hush counterparts, the Riddler (No. 228) and Scarecrow (No. 229), will look to add some terror to your collection in November. Riddler will be charging $99.99 for his services and you can sprinkle some fear in for $114.99 for Scarecrow.
As a toy collector, I like the type of design these figures provide. From the general aesthetic to the articulation and accessories. I’d certainly like to add a few of these to my MAFEX collection.
